Objectives: 1
enable participants to locate themselves in art history by acquiring knowledge of the major characteristics of different periods and different artistic trends, trying to understand the reason for these changes.
2. Gather information and form a specific way of thinking an approach to contemporary art.
Organization:
1. During 2 hours (20h - 22 h) from images in slideshows.
First year: every 15 days (2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month)
Second year: once a month (first Tuesday of the month)
Third year: once a month (1st Wednesday of months)
Second year: once a month (first Tuesday of the month)
Third year: once a month (1st Wednesday of months)
2. Visit museums, monuments, exhibitions.
3. Open from 15 years ....
Rates: 144 euros (first year): 84 euros (2nd & 3rd year) Location: Room Carignan versatile

Second year (early October 2009)
1.The lespost impressionists and impressionists.
2.Matisse and Picasso: from Fauvism to Cubism.
3.The abstract art.
4.Dada and the Surrealists.
5.La revolution Duchamp
Third year (beginning October 2009)
1.De Paris to New York abstract expressionism. 2.The
Pop-Art and hyper-realistic. 3.The
"fallout" in France: the New Realists, Support-Surface, BMPT, etc..
4.The new modes of artistic expression: installation, performance, happenings, body art, land-art, etc.. 5.The
"return" to painting.
6.Echantillons contemporary art.
